The Italian Most Important Business Newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore talks about Intercare and Destination Health’s Mission to Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Destination Health is the first network of International advisors to support healthcare providers in their internationalization process. Among its partner there are Alessandro Santambrogio, Valeria Albertin and Maurizio Cavezzali who also organize Intercare Medical Tourism Fair in Italy.

Destination Health will bring a cluster of the best Italian hospitals in a mission to Abu Dhabi and Dubai to promote Italy as a Medical Tourism destination.

Considering that Gulf Coast Countries spend 20 million dollars to offer the best medical treatments abroad to their citizens, Destination Health decided to offer this opportunity to the most important Italian healthcare providers so that they can introduce their medical excellences to the government representatives of these countries.

“Italy is not yet known abroad for its medical excellence. This is why creating a distinctive image of our country is the first thing we are planning to do in our internationalization strategy” says Alessandro Santambrogio, partner and marketing director of Intercare and Destination Health.

The mission to Abu Dhabi is divided in two parts. At first, Italian Hospital will take part in ITW – International Travel Week World Medical Tourism Summit on 25 – 26 Novembre 2017. Then they will meet Ministries of Health in Abu Dhabi and Dubai to start procedures towards Memorandum of Understanding.

San Donato Group, IEO, Mondino Foundation, INI Group and Cidimu are among the first providers that will take part in this unique mission.

In the meantime we are also working on different strategies to develop Italian Medical Tourism towards other key markets, such as North Africa, the Balkans, Russia and the Csi, focusing above all on establishing solid relationships with local governments”.
