Three days of Intercare, the first Medical Tourism Fair in Italy, came to an end on Saturday, May 27th.
“The First Edition of Intercare has been an important event to increase awareness on Medical Tourism. Institutions, hospital groups and facilities have all been present and cohesive in order to lay the foundations of an important development project that will improve the quality of life.”
This was the comment of Maurizio Cavezzali, President of Intercare.
With 30 exhibitors, coming from 9 nations and 24 buyers from 21 foreign countries, 6 sponsors, over 20 patronages, promoters and partners; 24 congresses and seminars, more than 80 speakers, 1.000 business meetings, the first Intercare Innovation Award ceremony; more than 15.000 online visits, 500 billboards around Milan, nearly 1.000 visitors, newspapers campaign, more than one million impressions from digital campaign, more than 70 credentialed journalists; Intercare represented a turning point for Health Tourism in Italy.
Great interest coming from Institutions, press and professional operators, finally showed also in Italy, the great potential of this young and growing market.
