Italians and medical tourism: the number of those who travel abroad for healthcare is constantly increasing

The main flow of Italian medical tourism heads abroad, in search of healthcare.
There is also a considerable flow within the country.
Italy has not yet developed incomingmedical tourism on a par with other countries (e.g. Spain or Croatia).
Many European countries are specialising and identifying with specific medical therapies, such as Belgium in abdominal plastic surgery or gastric implants.
