Intercare Innovation Award

Cronic pain is a crucial problem linked to different pathologies and has a relevant impact on the quality of life of patients and families. Intercare recognizes the value of research in this field by awarding the first Intercare Innovation Prize to Elise Houdayer, neurobiology researcher of San Raffaele Hospital and coordinator of a project introducing virtual reality within a multidisciplinary approach to cronic pain.

The project, funded by ARSOP (Association of Private Hospitals Specialists in Rehabilitation) has also been awarded the European civic prize on chronic pain, promoted by Active citizenship network.
